Anyone who hasn't read Weston Farmer's book FROM MY OLD BOATSHOP is in for a pleasant suprise. Farmer was a wonderful designer, writer and illustrator with a love for all things mechanical. This new edition of his classic book is a collection of his thoughts on boats, designs, engines, etc. Chapters include:
- The Kitchen Rudder
- Choosing the Right Propeller
- Where have all the Old Marine Engines Gone
- The First Gas-Powered Marine Engines
- The Lovely Fantail Launch
- The Low Powered Launch Coyote II
- etc
Great fireside reading... (or on the beach for those in OZ...) From My Old Boatshop Warning... the above comments are a crude and invasive advertisement meant to catch those vulnerable to Holiday shopping desires.... |
