Is that ignition correct, or did a later one get substituted? |

Bill- I believe the ignition to be correct. It is a Unisparker distributor. Unfortunately, the guts of the distributor are missing. This engine belongs to a friend of mine, Harry Buck who purchased the engine many years ago. The porting on this one is strange with no apparent bypass porting. On the top picture, right hand jug, you'll see a small port (others taped shut)we are trying to figure out what goes on top of it. |

Paul: would like to figure the porting on this one also! Do the ports from carbs open when piston is top dead center, and go into crankcase? do piston deflectors face away from these ports? The open and taped ports go where?? Thanks Richard |
