I have a 1947 Lyman Islander with a 4 cylinder 65(?) HP Gray Marine gas engine, Shortly after buyng the boat, I found water in the oil. I have pressure tested the oil cooler, and pulled the intake/exhaust manifold (due to a small crack in the exhaust side)for pressure testing and braising. After changing the oil and running the engine, the oil appears within a few minutes at idle. It runs very well and purs like a kitten. Does anyone have any advice or a source for parts and gaskets?

Try Gary at Bristol Marine in California. I'm at work now and only have his phone number on my cell phone, but not his city; it's somewhere in Southern California. His number is 714-846-2039. He's helped me with my Gray Marine 412 in an old 40-foot Kettenberg.
