I have what I think is a 1918 4 cylinder Scrips marine engine. Complete with transmission and it looks like probably 6 volt electrics. It is a massively heavy beast, still will turn over but is in need of a major clean up. I'm wondering if anybody knows anything about this type of engine. I'll get model/serial as soon as I can and post them next. |

Brian - when you come over on Wednesday, bring some pictures and I can help you upload them to the OME website. It should be an interesting engine, very early after WW1 when electric starters / batteries were improved. Miro |
