I have a mid 70s 318 that i want to replace with a 350 merc cruiser. Space is tight, does anyone know the height width length of a 318 . I do not want to do any cutting of boat to fit the 350 in.

From a 1975 book 318 is H 31,w 23.6,L 32.Chev350 H 29,w30,L 30.6 both blocks can have a no 3 clutch houseing,But you might need an adapter.
