There's a fellow over on Harry's site wanting info on a 2 cylinder engine he calls a marine engine.It looks to have palmer cylinders but has 2 flywheels.I can't post over there right now so its up to someone else to reply. |

Larry it looks to me to be a NR-2 Palmer stationary pre 1922/23 as it has a gib key holding the flywheel on. I just got an e-mail from him and I am sending him some material that will help him get it going. Basically Palmer cast up a bob tail lower half of the crankcase, cast up a box base, lengthened the crankshaft, added a governor and sold them as stationary engines. Doubt this one ever got near salt water. |
