Recently acquired an old launch with a Fay & Bowen single cylinder S/N 1133. Two different opinions about the age of the motor. As well as the hp rating (1.7hp and 7hp). It was built in Geneva, NY with a Patent date of Oct. 21, 1902, and is rated at 475rpm. Anyone know when this motor was built?

Can you tell me the price of this item on the market? And good luck starting the engine.

I have a Fay & Bowen engine, no 3632, single cylinder vertical two stroke. Seriously damaged but restorable, unfortunately converted to high tension ignition. Any chance of anyone having a spare igniter or parts for one. I have downloaded to original patent but construction from scratch doesn't look easy. The original gearing on top of the internal sideshaft is intact.
