I picked up my Arnolt Sea-Mite DDT SN 2588 a couple weeks ago at a swap meet. It appears 100% complete and looks to be ready to run - it even has a "dashboard"(!)...except its stuck. No worries - I'll work on getting the motor free over the next couple months.
Anyway, I'm looking for information on the motor. I see a couple posts from 10 years ago, but nothing current. Most of the links to info in the posts are dead.
From web my research, it is believed the motor is a marine version of the Waukesha ICK and a cousin to the Redwing Meteor. I have been in touch with the Waukesha historical folks and have an ICK manual on the way. I tried the Redwing site, but the contact and email information addresses bounce back. I also reached out to my Antique Outboard Club, but as the name indicates, not much info there. Anyone out there have any info? It would be greatly appreciated.    |
