Does anyone have an md1b with a temp gauge? If so where does the sender go?- My engine seems to have only an oil pressure sender and I would love to keep an eye on temp. If I need to retrofit where do I drill and what sender do I use?

Hi Paul, dont know if anyone has advised you yet but- there is a place on the top of the manifold that you can screw out the plug and fit an off the shelf(taiwan) temperatiure sender. Get the electric type rather than the capillary type as the vibration will get to it. It works fine and at least tells you that the water flow is ok. hope that helps cheers |
