Here are some pictures of an unrestored DisPro. I particularly like the colour scheme - it looks as if the guy used old house paint - but at least it was consistent. There was no one home, so I could not find out anything about it. It musy have been stored relatively securely, since I did not smell that mixture of oil, gunk and mouse droppings.
It looks to be an early model ( copper jacket engine and no recoil starter - mid-1920's?). You stood in front of the engine, looking backwards towards the stern, rudder out of the water (especially if you are my size) you flip the flywheel, hoping the thing starts, then you leap over the seat to get to the steering position, hoping that you haven't hit anything major.
Note how mis-aligned the shaft and the engine are.
I expect that within a year or two, this will be a gleaming restoration.

It looks like the motor is not bolted down, that would explain the alignment issue |
