Hi I am looking for part's and information on this motor I am trying to restore, this use to be my Grandfather motor. |

Looks like you have the timer and the water pump with the eccentric shaft- they're the more challenging parts to find. It probably used a Schebler Model D carb - my guess would be a 1 inch or maybe 3/4 ( the more difficult to find) The buzz coil probably might need a new capacitor - a bit of excavation will be needed to get the old one out . Or make up a modern version of the coil. My guess is that it is earlier than 1905/7 because of the mounting flange - it's below the mid level of the engine crankshaft. Assuming that it is not stuck and has a bit of compression, it might start OK. A couple more pictures - front, side, rear and some close ups will greatly assist in figuring out what it is. But it looks like a good "find" for the group here. miro |
