I am in the process of dismantling a wooden boat found in a field in England. Most of it is rotten and is going in the skip. The engine and fuel tank are still present but externally in bad condition. It's been in this field for over 30 years. I have found a metal sign in it saying 'Sea Skiff'. The engine is a V8. I found a metal plate saying 'Owens Flagships' Baltimore 22, MD with a serial number. The boat is about 25 foot long. Is anything above of interest to anyone? Is anything of value? |

I would have to say there is not sufficient value to consider shipping back to this side of the pond. That may well be a marine conversion of a "small block Chevy" (283, 305, 350 CID engine). There may be interest over there, possibly even with a Chevy guy. |

I think you also posted on the Woodenboat forum. It actually has some interesting 'add-ons'. (performance aluminum manifolds, dual point ignition) you are also close to getting it running. Good luck. |
