Does anyone have a spec sheet for a 1950's Gray Marine Vee Drive, Model 113, Number 1294?
I need to know the max HP and RPM.

Chris , like yourself I am seeking information about these Vee Drive Boxes .I have two , a left and a right hand unit .However they both have the output running the same way,counterclockwise.They are model 7:4 691 and 692.Theshafts are are horizontally offset.There is a number cast into the top of the actual gearbox casting , Timken5200W127 , probably the bearing numbers ?? |

Chris, From a catalog cut on the '30-'32 year gray motors. The V-drives were rated at 50-150 HP at 3000 RPM OR any engine developing a torque not greater than that of 200hp at 3000 RPM. Look for a period special catalog #51-B according to the catalog. Not what you're looking for but relavant. |

Re the output shafts having the same rotation.
It is quite common to have one of the engines
running counter clockwise in a twin engine set up
so you would not have both props spinning in the same direction ,(the steering and handling would
be diabolical otherwise)Mercruiser do it alot |
