Hello,
I have a Fageol 44 VIP motor that came with what looks like complete mounting hardware and two extra drives, as well as a good number of spare parts. I have been able to mount it on a makeshift stand and the motor cranks over well with the 6 volt battery I bought, set up with positive ground, as specified in the manual. However, when I added 2 quarts of oil, much of it leaked out. Not sure if it was overfull or if there is a leak in the sump or elsewhere, but I do know I'm not getting spark, and I've probably taken this project as far as I'll take it. I'm now looking to get this in the hands of someone who is more interested and move on to other projects.
The motor and all accompanying parts is in Chino Hills CA. Any reasonable offer will be considered.
