Hello. Can anyone help me idetify my little enngine? I have been thinking that it maybe can be an outboard engine rebuilt for inboard. Only info i have found on internet is a picture of a similar engine in a swedish museum. They dont have a clue what engine it is. |

From site linked above (in case it disappears in future) "Jack Craib's Rowboat Motor Information Site Svalan Sderbloms Gjuteri AB (Soderblom's Foundry Ltd, Eskilstuna, Sweden) "This is my motor, which I brought home to Canada from the Netherlands in March 2005. As best as we can date it, she looks to be circa 1915. The scanned images were provided by Bo Eklund who lives in Sweden. Best, Christopher Scratch, RBM Chapter Editor For more information and documentation of the magneto disassembly on this motor go to Vol.2, Issue 1 of Chris Scratch's Rowboat Motor Journal, the Official Newsletter of the Southern Ontario Rowboat Motor Chapter, (of which, Chris is the writer and editor, not to mention founder of the chapter!)." |
