Does anyone have one of those DuBries that were found in crates in a warehouse several years ago?
Some had props included in the crate along with a primer cup, sparkplug and hand crank.
What I would like to know is the size of the prop that came with them (I will buy one if someone has one available).
I'm installing one in a 16' boat and wanted to know so I would have some kind of idea where to start (pitch & diameter).
Thanks,
Lou

I picked up a "crate" Dubrie - a few years ago - it came with a prop and a packing gland for the shaft - all tags in place. I'll see if I can find the prop and let you know - we installed it in our 20' EM White motor canoe and we used the original prop.I don't need the original prop.

Thanks Ron,
I would love to have the prop and the packing gland if you don't need it and can find it.
I bought one in the crate and one out. The serial #s are in sequence. The one in the crate had a canvas bag with the primer cup, sparkplug and hand crank, the other had the sparkplug installed along with the primer cup and crank. Neither had a prop or packing gland. I left the one in the crate,(my friends said I should leave it in the crate so I bought the second one) installed some small light bulbs in the crate and have it on display.
Thanks again,
Lou
