Hey people, I had to get towed back to the wharf today the 8 Acadia quit on me,and would start an stop was banging up against the rocks and lucky I was seen and rescued Now besides all that when I was back tied onto the wharf I got it started barely running and I could see it wasn't making full revolutions halfway an halfway back and so on. Anyone seen or heard of this before thanks mark nl |

Seen it before, timing may have been too far advanced. The ignitors should trip as close to tdc as possible. I believe you engine has separate eccentrics for front and rear, one may be out of time. |

Thanks gives me a starting place, the thing is this motor runs perfectly well with a few kinks here an there,I know they are simple but maybe that's the trouble I look too deep. I really want to know all I can learn from you folks. Thanks mark nl |
