"Nordberg" engines (4 and 6 cyl) have been found in at least a couple of old Lyman's. Can anyone point me to some history and applications for Nordberg marine engines? Thanks |

I have a 1940's Book, with all the Diesel Engines built since 1910 in it and a Norberg Engine is in there,..of a (9) Cylinder, 2 Cycle Engine, built for the Victory Ship Class Vessel,.. 6000 Normal Horsepower 160RPM Cylinder Bore and Stroke,..29" X 40" 2 Cycle Single Acting Crosshead Overhead Camshafts,..etc.... There is also shown, the Four Cycle Nordberg Engines in the 6, 7 and 8 Cylinder Design. |
