I'm looking for information on the Koban outboard motor built in the 1912-1926 era, production figures, colours, advertisements etc |

I have 2 kobans. The one with a solid flywheel has the timing handle base broken. The other koban has a different base. Any info on how to find another one (cast maybe?) would be helpful. Also any pic's of the correct timing handle would help. Thanks Matt Warner |

parts are hard to find for these motors, I had bought a second motor for parts, but UPS smashed it then refused to pay for it. I also need a timing lever, I have about half of mine Roger |

I need a rudder for a 1918 Koban twin. Motor is complete except for the rudder and tiller arm. I can make a correct tiller arm. Need help with a rudder. Also, an owners manual, reprint OK. Thanks for any help. Morgan} |

You'll have to make it yourself. This is a pain but there is no other way. You should be able to find a mixed bag of springs at the local hardware store |
