I have just scanned and uploaded a 'new' old marine oil engine book at this url on archive.org
The book is: The Marine Oil Engine Handbook, third edition, 1914. Compiled by the staff of "The Motor Ship and Motor Boat". London: Temple Press Ltd.
It has plenty of illustrations of contemporary engines, mostly British, but there are a few others as well. Enjoy!
