Hi All just brought a small boat with this type of engine in it. Its in not bad nick but could do with a rebuild. I have an old school fitter waiting with spanners in hands. But need a parts supplier IE gaskets and a manual would be help full.Any help would be very welcome.Boats Called Sinbad |

Parts are hard to find for the KF, but I do have some manual stuff

Hi Erik I was told it was the captains skimming dish of HMS London. Don,t know how true that is. |

Suresteel, Did you buy the boat on the Isle of Wight?? If so it used to belong to me and I could tell you plenty about the engine as I half stripped it down and rebuilt it. please get in touch |

Everything on Sinbad (6259) is original apart from the cabin which I designed and built. It did serve as a Captains Launch on HMS London also as a target towing launch. Then went on to be used as a harbour launch in Portsmouth.
There were many new parts on the engine ie, Roots blower, fuel pump, cylinder head, valves, injectors. What it did need was cylinder liners and piston rings. Any other questions, just ask.
