Hi, newbie to the site. Wondering if anyone can help me identify a motor that was given to me by a friend recently. It's an older style Evinrude 20 hp 4 cyl. long shaft. I can't seem to find the serial or model number., as there is no manufacturers plate on the shaft. I did find three different sets of numbers but can't seem to match them up with anything. Number on top of the flywheel is 387659. Two other numbers stamped on the motor are 314816 and 00083593. Keeps snapping shear pins and slipping, I'm assuming it has the wrong prop. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. |
