I got the boat running but my siphon fuel feed system is not working. I have been looking at fuel pumps but I am not sure what the recommended pressure should be. I am between a 1.5 to 3 psi and 2.5 to 5 psi pump. I did see the post on using a relay with the coil powered of the generator to control the pump only when the engine is running. I still have a fuel priming bulb in the system for priming the fuel until the engine is running. What are the recommendations? Top end is about 1800 rpms under load. Should I expect more? I seek your collective wisdom. |

Thank you John for your response. Bigger problems than the fuel pump. After a "three hour tour" my oil is the same color as my engine. Grey sludge! Head gasket was new but now I am at the end of my talent curve. Gotta find someone who can fine the problem. Failure is always an option. |
