I have a gray marine sea scout 91 in my Cascade 29 sailboat. The carb is a model 61 Zenith updraft. Unfortunately ethanol gas was put in the tank and over time the carb is having lots of problems. I've put a rebuild kit on the carb but other internal parts seem to have been eaten away. Is there another carb that would be a replacement to the model 61? I've called Zenith and they say the model has been discontinued but have also heard the carbs out of Atomic 4's might possibly work. Does anyone know if this is true and if so where I can find a replacement for the model 61? |
