My Evinrude engine has the following information on the plate
E15RLEDS - which my guess is:
E = Evinrude
15 = horsepower
R = Rope Start w/Tiller Steering
L= 20” Long
ED = 1996
S = Production Run S
But it also has this information on it. Can anyone tell me what these numbers and letters represent?

I have 140 horsepower evinrude motor that is sitting on 135 horsepower Strangler transom. The transom nameplate states that it is 135 horsepower Strangler. I'm trying to find out where to find information of the 140 horsepower Evinrude that sits on the top of the transom. Any information would be very useful.
