I wonder if anyone can help with an estimated value for this engine or a determination of year made. Serial number is 5539, prior to 1933 when serial numbers started at 10,000, so assume it was built in the 20's but don't have exact year. It is missing a distributor cap, rotor and points, but has everything else and gearbox is complete. Freeze plugs say patented 4-6-13, point assembly says patented 21. Picture attached. |
