Thanks Keith, the eye is coming right over us, probably about 1PM. So far it hasn't been too bad, some strong gust and light rain, can't relax until it's over. The yard is covered with pecans, would have been a good season. |

We are okay here in Morgan City,la. Some minor street flooding, lost my whole house generator this morning. Some reason it decided to burn up the generator end. Also lost my gates on my fence and the lady across the street lost a piece of her metal roof. Mostly just limbs and leaves all over. There are people that stayed where the evacuation was mandatory and are now having to be rescued south of New Orleans from their rooftops. Water over the levees in some areas below New Orleans. Thanks for the concern and prayers. |

Prayers are with you, friends. I can't imagine getting over a foot of rain. You may be using the batteau to run up the road. . . |

It's over here, no major problems, spots with no power, we're OK. Neighbors tree fell on the fence at the shop, going to remove it now. |

I went out of town for hurricane evac with work. Stopped by the shop on the way home and found everything fine other than no power. Fence damage at home but power is on. Most of Houma is without power and we are under a boil water order. Utility crews are every where working hard to restore utilities. Still getting some bad weather bands passing thru. Heading to the camp to check on things and crank up a generator to save the freezer contents. I hope the roads are open. Jim |

My camp survived the storm. The shed fell off its cement piers but that is an easy fix. Power came on five minutes after hooking up generator. Jim |
