The typical priming cup on the left was included here just for the sense of scale. I have never seen a priming cup quite so unusual as the one on the right. After handling it for a bit I thought it might be of European origin but the thread is standard 1/8" pipe thread. Perhaps it was designed for a very specific make of engine? Maybe an early automobile engine? |

Ernie, have you ever seen an ad for these leggy primer cups or an engine in an ad that has one installed on it as original equipment? Thanks. |

International kerosene tractor engines used a long stem primer cup.I have seen a number of tractors with them on.Don't remember that same arm. |
