Unknown engine

Author Message   gilbertplubell Visitor Posted on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 - 10:12 pm:        I bought this engine from a man who had used it as a parts engine to restore a Palmer Marine engine. He said this was also a palmer. It dosn't look like a palmer to me. It has a 1/2 in spark plug in the top center, and has casting marks of G-1, G-2, G-3, and G-4 on the four main castings.
