Took the lid off my commutator and am wondering how the rotor passes power to the outgoing post on top. Is there something in the lid like the spring loaded pin on the side that rides on the red rotor, maybe a ball and spring or what should ne on top of the shaft. Also any idea on what consists of a wiring diagram. I suppose there is a model t coil in there somewhere. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Bob |

Bob, There is a contact shaped like a top hat (plunger) that has a spring behind it to to make sure the contact is made. This contact completes the primary circuit of the buzz coil. miro |
