I have this motor listed as a Motorgo in my files. I don't know where that info came from. I bought the motor locally in Minnesota, and it is missing plenty, including the piston and rod. It has a 4 and 3/4 inch bore, and either a rusty 1 1/8" or a worn 1 1/4" crank. I need to know what it is so I can start tracking down parts.

Thanks Richard, I figured it wasn't a Motorgo because of the three hole flywheel, but I couldn't place what it was. Any one know if the water pumps for the smaller Caille will fit this 6 HP? Also, can anyone post pictures of close ups of the timer? A helpful member here sent me some nice pictures of his motor, but clearly I am going to have to make a timer, a water pump, and a new intake. |

Bill, I believe you could take a cast elbow and cut to match, braze in place, the intake could be salvaged. I think the pump was larger. I may have a connecting rod, it's a large brass one, possible Caille. |
