Hi, i'm hoping someone might be able to help me out, a friend of mine has a 30ft De Groot river cruiser, with twin BMC inboard diesels, they are 4 cyl either 2.2 or 2.5 but i don't know which!!, from early 70's.. the big ends have gone on one of the motors, but before trying to source parts (suggestions welcome of where to try).. I need to identify exacly which engine it is, no clear identifications on the castings, can anyone give me some clear advice about the differences between the 2.2 & 2.5
