Hi, Just picked up a universal. It has an Aluminum pan,valve cover and transmission.A Ricardo head, Brass carb and water pump. I was wondering about what year it might be. The universal history site is down. The tag reads
Type N29E ser#16179. It was on a lake and in good

Hi guys! I´have bought an old classic sailboat in Argentina and I had to overhaul its Universal Flexifour FA engine. It runs great but I have problems with the gearbox. Nobody knows how to fix it and I´m looking for the repair manuals since it would be a shame to adapt something else. Does anyone happen to know how to help me?
