Hello folks! My question is this: Does anyone know why there would be "poofs" of smoke coming out of my carb? There is old fuel still in the tank and this fuel takes a lead additive. The fuel has sat over the winter so is that possibly why the smoke is occurring? I had ran the motor recently to get the water through the cooling system. The motor runs amazingly well. The other day I started it up and as mentioned it ran well, then I turned it off turned it back on maybe 10 minutes later and it would act like a backfire but just white smoke came out... Just a big "poof" of smoke... I've never seen this before. Can anyone please tell me what I should do... I know the first will be to put fresh gas in, but after that where do I go? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks BW |
