Hello, I finally got me an old marine engine, its a KERMATH 3-4 hp. Not familiar with these but have wanted a marine engine for a while....especially a 4 stroke. It is missing the mag and mag gear and the connecting intermediate gear, so, I suspect I will run a buzz coil for simplicity. It is stuck pretty tight but think it will run sometime in the near future...was wondering what color paint would have been original, and was wondering if these engines "Kermath" were a little less common? Thanks, will also need help on how the oiling system works! |
