This DisPro was restored over the past 2 years by its owner ( not by a professional boat restorer). It shows how nice a job can be done if there is heart in it. This boat sat for over 35 years in a barn ad a garage - mercifuly protected from vandals. The picture showing the boat launch is the first time the boat had met water in those 35 years - the moment of truth - it DIDN'T sink.
The guy holding the line is the grand-nephew of the original owner.
IN 4 week's time there is the 25th annual DisPro regatta on Lake Muskoka- over 75 DisPro's have been registered. I think there will be some interesting boats there.
