I have no history from previous owner. Fuel pump might be 30 years old. How vulnerable are these electronic fuel pumps. Where can I get new pump or rebuild kit.

I don't know where to get one. Are there any Coast Guard rules regarding them now? The classic Bendix pumps lasted a long time but most prudent people I knew years back carried a spare. They came from the local auto parts houses. Back before WWII everybody with a V-8 Ford carried a spare spark coil and fuel pump under the seat as they had a very bad habit of failing at the worst possible times. I forgot to mention many also carried a spare fifth there to keep the parts company. I think those problems are still with us when it comes to boat spares.

Richard,
Thanks for the info. I found an after market pump for Atomic4's by Indigo Electronics Inc. Williamsburg VA. What does a Cub tractor use? I always have a fifth handy, however I think I'll carry a spare.
