Are there extant examples of either the Ryan or the Harriman engines?

The real story here is Edward G. Shortt, in 1888 he patented a pumping engine, valve chambers, air brakes in 1891,and many others.
in 1901 he recieved Pat 711,235
for a combustion engine and again in 1906 Pat 812,304 which pertained to the engine mfgd by W.M.Ryan Co.
I have searched for the Companies that may have mfgd his 1901 engine but nothing yet ?
