I'm wondering if anybody can tell me if Stover in the US made marine engines? If so does anybody have a picture? Best regards Mark S. |

Yes there was at least one Stover engine that was used for a Marine application. It was the Stover DV2 water cooled. Stover also made an air cooled version of this engine. I believe it was sold by U.S. Motors as part of their "Falcon" line. Sorry no pics. There is a pic of a DV2 in Wendals "yellow" or "red" book in the Stover section. If you are not sure of what these books are just about any stationary engine collector should have a copy. Hope this helps Ernie |

Ernie is right Stover did make dv2 blocks for other companys. I have a Regal two cylinder 5hp marine engine that has the DV2 stamped into the top of the head.I have some pictures but can't figure out how to post them on this site. |
