While helping clean out a warehouse, I came across 2 Johnson outboards The first is model no. A25 Serial A57479 It looks to be complete The second is a Seahorse 5 painted Green Model TN27 serial no. 898476 Missing a carburetor Does anyone know the possible value of these motors as I am a novice on motors. |

A25 opposed twin is 1925 2hp. Not rare but a nice little engine. If tank is decent (no dents) and still has compression and is decent on the outide (no scratches) it will fetch $200 or so (US) Green Seahorse is early postwar, unless owned by President Truman is worth its weight in aluminum. You cannot retire on this. Hope this helps |
