I have a nice Farymann 18D diesel with a Finnish reduction gearbox on the back made by Suomen Moottoritehdas, (Finnish Motor Works), now out of business. I know NOTHING about this gearbox and really need help understanding it.
Any possible help out there regarding the above??

You can search if there are any traces about your gearbox in Ephemera's Industrial price lists 1810-1944: http://digi.lib.helsinki.fi/pienpainate/secure/main.html
Search for Suomen Moottoritehdas publications whether you can identify the type of your product. |
