I have a Gray Model 70 that will not accelerate under load. Starts and idles fine and will rev up to 4000RPM in neutral but in gear it will not rev higher than 2000RPM. It needs a general tune up, but it feels like something else is wrong here. Appreciate any advice. |

It sounds as if the carb is set too lean - or there is a schmutz clogging the jet.
If your engine has not been serviced for some time, make sure you do a really thorough carb cleaning.
