When people ask me what to look for when buying a Palmer engine missing its serial number tag I suggest they look for the logo. For example on the YT head it is in plain view on the top just above the intake port on the Port side. On occasion I have run into the problem the owner/seller wants to put an early date on the engine thinking that makes it more valuable. To me more valuable is rarity, condition, completness not age Hope this helps. |
