I think the carb off an Evinrude model N (the little 2hp outboard should do. Assuming you can find a parts motor |

I have on for the small Johnson outboard that uses the compression clamp mount. It has the hand operated throttle lever. What does the mounting surface look like on your motor? I am not familar with the model N. Mine is a model DD. Roger |

It is a one half by two inch vertical opening with quarter twenty holes centered top and bottom. I'd send a pic but our camera threw craps and we are waiting for a new one. Would I need a carb for each cylinder? |

There is a gentleman by the name of Don Grinker who owns Engine Blade and Prop in Milwaukee, WI who rebuilds old Eninrude and Johnson outboards plus he has a huge stock of parts for older engines. He might have what you want or know who might. 414-671-0533. Give him a call. He is also a member of the Antique Ouboard Motor group. |

Thanks for all the pics and very good info. Looks like I might be farther into the woods than I thought. Seems I'll need an intake manifold, carb, and water pump, or should i just part it out? It is pristine on the inside. |
