New here looking for information on a JXDM engine # 1760132. I have been told that the 'M' stands for marine. but engine was out of a loader. My problem is in order to run engine it needs a distributor cap but caps aren't tall enough that the parts supplier says should fit. Delco Remy Distributor number is 1111807- 6A16 Points line up with cam on shaft but rotor sits too high for caps numbers RR142 ,RR95 Any information might help The Dishwasher |

Well do you have the piece that goes between the cap and distributor. There is a part that divides the point area from the high voltage upper part. This part gets misplaced and there is NO way to fit a cap on there with out it.Its sort of a disc with a hole for the roter in it. Don't ask how i know this. |
