we changed a cam in the motor ran fine for breakin when boat idles it over heats raw pump is fine circ pump seems to work took thermostat out will cool @ high idle any ideas |

blindsay,check your exhaust manifold,especially the elbow that mix's the exhaust& water prior to going through the transom.If used in salt water it may be terminal.The cast iron literally swells the water passages shut.If this is the case,you might get lucky by rodding it out.Good luck |
