hi can anyone help. my albin 0-21 had a slight overheat the other day ( forgot to turn on raw water feed for 2 mins) and since then has lost power under load, ticks over fine and compression seems ok. there is a slight spitting sound. it may be that the overheat had nothing to do with it so any help or explanation would be gratefully received. thanks |

loosing power under load means the ignition is not ok. Check sparkplugs, cabels, coil, condensator etc. |

Do you have the oil mixture right on this engine? If you don't have enough oil, it would stall after a little while of running just fine. I presume that it is a 2-stroke engine. Just lurking, haven't been following much. Archibald Northfield, Minnesota . |
