 I just returned from a swap meet where I purchased an original repair parts and price list for a Model “U” and an original repair parts and price list for Models “R” and “S”. Models “R” and “S” is dated 1918 because it has a rubber stamped note dated Sept. 1, 1918 saying it was a list from 8 years ago and needed to have the price increased by 50%. Any-way. Most of the parts seem to be interchangeable between the two models with some exceptions. Does anyone know anything about this? According to the list the “R” model had a plunger type water pump and the model “S” has the rotary Oberdorfer pump type. Also does anyone know when the change from a solid flywheel to a spoked flywheel and on which models? The parts list show a solid flywheel.
