| Engine numbers / models gray marine? |

guys , hello from the deep south , i have two grays , a 4-85 M-23XX , and a 4-70 , h-40XX. the 85 has a carter BB-1 carb , exhaust manifold cast date 12-12-68. the 4-70 has a zenith? carb and a block cast date of F-10-V , and an exhaust cast date 01-1-79? the '79 seemed a mis-read? any chance the add ons ( exhaust manifold mainly) is interchangeable ( the 4-85 exhaust manifold to the 4-70 engine ?) new to the forum , but a wood boat fan . just bought a higgins PT-16 in good shape and need some details to get it back on the bayous of south louisiana where it came from . i also have a long history at farmallcub.com under the same name , another fun pastime . coppersmythe................................... |
