I've had this engine for years, recently dug it out of the barn. After browsing the photos posted here, it looks a lot like a C.T. Wright. Can anyone verify that ? No ID plate or casting marks that I can see. Thanks

Looks like a Michigan Steel Boat Works engine or a Detroit. I have a Michigan that looks exactly like it. |

* Phil- This engine was mfgrd in Detroit, Jefferson avenue by the Wadsworth Conglomerate that made several look alike engs with this 1906 Termaat & Monahan patented wet exhaust. This one has the 4 hole flywheel so probably made by Termaat or Caille ? These engines were also sold by C.T. Wright and Gile Boat Co., also others ? ** |

I would consider selling this engine. Does anyone know approximately what it might be worth ? It runs but the carburetor drips sometimes, I think it needs a new float. Thanks |
